NIH HEAL Data Stewardship Group

The HEAL Stewards’ mission is to work with HEAL Investigators and other stakeholders to develop best practices for data sharing, secure data storage, metadata collection, and data harmonization within the HEAL Data Ecosystem. The Stewards lead the HEAL Ecosystem engagement effort, incorporating feedback from the HEAL community. They provide oversight and consultancy for data management, helping the HEAL investigators generating data across the complex landscape of the HEAL Initiative adhere to program objectives in a coordinated manner. They also develop use cases to inform search capabilities, promote flexible knowledge graph standards, create automated workflows to make HEAL data FAIR, provide data analytic and visualization tools, and collaborate with the HEAL Platform provider to enable novel discovery through the HEAL Data Ecosystem. The HEAL Data Stewards Team will apply the HeLx platform and Dug semantic search engine to automate curation of HEAL data.
