The Finance Team oversees RENCI’s day-to-day fiscal management and research administration. The team is responsible for the processing, analyzing and reporting of RENCI finances. The Finance Team is responsible for monitoring all transactions to ensure that internal and external policies and guidelines are followed, and managing all institutional and sponsored research funding. Additionally, the team provides assistance with submission of research proposals, ensuring that the institute remains in compliance with university, state and federal guidelines.

The Finance Team oversees RENCI’s day-to-day fiscal management and research administration.

The Project Management team is responsible for managing highly complex research and team science coordination projects at RENCI. The team is responsible for developing the project management strategy, supporting project plans, and managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, reporting, deliverable requirements, and scope. Project Managers support proposal development on already assigned projects and potentially new, large collaborations.

The Communications Team works across groups at RENCI to support marketing, branding, website development, and outreach efforts. The team is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy across all research groups at RENCI. The Communications Team ensures that RENCI projects maintain brand identity and integrity through content creation, marketing and outreach efforts, graphic design and web and app development, with an emphasis on thoughtful user interfaces and experiences.

The Office of the Director (OOD) holds responsibility for managing RENCI’s overall performance and future strategic direction. It is their responsibility to ensure that the institute runs smoothly and with the utmost financial stability and growth. In addition to overall operations, each member of OOD serves in leadership roles in various RENCI projects, contributing their particular expertise and strategic guidance to project teams. 

In close collaboration with divisions throughout RENCI, the OOD develops organizational capabilities, oversees strategic sustainability planning, and supports current and future research and development. To bolster RENCI’s continued growth, the OOD also focuses on improving internal operations and processes, supporting staff in professional development efforts, and growing a collaborative, inclusive culture.

The Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Support (ACIS) Team provides a wide range of IT services and support across all groups at RENCI, and is responsible for managing infrastructure in the cloud and on premise in the RENCI datacenter. The team oversees services ranging from high performance computing, enterprise storage, and virtualization to desktop and audio/video conference room support.

The Administrative Assistants Team (AAT/Admin Team) provides direct support to the members of the Office of the Director (OOD) as well as to the wider RENCI community. The Admin Team is the point of contact for OOD's availability for calls and meetings, questions about OOD's respective responsibilities , general information about RENCI processes, and assistance with the hiring process. The Admin Team also helps out with events, meetings, supplies orders, parking permits, and much more.
