Description
SWIP (Scientific Workflow Integrity with Pegasus) strengthens the cybersecurity controls in the Pegasus Workflow Management System to provide assurances with respect to the integrity of scientific data.
RENCI's Role
RENCI’s role is to provide an evaluation and testing framework for the newly developed methods of integrity assurance that are implemented by the ISI team. RENCI uses the ExoGENI testbed and a newly developed software toolkit called Chaos Jungle to programmatically introduce impairments into the computational systems running scientific workflows in order to evaluate and assess the performance of the integrity solutions.
